Please remember for overnight camping that fees must be paid no later than June 15. $10 per Adult 16+, $5 per child 3-15yrs and free for children under 3yrs. You will be responsible for your entrance fee to White Sands which is $3 (free for 15 & under). ATTENTION Ladies and Gentlemen! Silver Moon Society and Alamogordo Area Pagans cordially invite you to attend our 4th Annual White Sands Pagan Unity Ritual and Campout on Saturday, June 20, 2009!!! We will be participating in a unity ritual, involving aspects of Wicca-Angelic Work-Heathenism-Shamanic-Egyptian & other diverse and varied paths. We will be happy to include your path should you wish to do so, just let us know! Following the ritual, there will be a BBQ and campout for the evening. Please feel free to bring musical instruments of all sorts as there will be dancing and drumming after the BBQ and into the nighttime hours (all quiet after 11pm per park rules). Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be provided for overnight campers! Other wise provide your own meat to BBQ (i.e. hamburgers, hotdogs, steak, brats, etc.) and a side dish to share with all. Campout provides restroom facilities, 2 BBQ grills, and a pavilion with picnic tables. Directions will be provided after payment of fees and will also be available at the park gate. Fees do not include park entrance fee. Overnight camping fee, hot dogs/hamburgers and ritual participation are included. Fees are as follows: $10.00 per adult (16+) $5.00 per child (3-15) Free for those under age 3 You may arrive at anytime after the gates open on Saturday, June 20th, but learning from previous years, arrival from 6pm and later makes for a more enjoyable experience (Wow, was it HOT at midafternoon) . You may want to bring warmer clothing and a light jacket or sweater as it gets real cool after sunset (sorta strange considering how darn hot it is in the daytime-silly ol' desert). The park will be open until 10pm so you are more than welcome to come and enjoy the Ritual, BBQ and fellowship but keep in mind that ritual may run late and it does take about 20 minutes to get back to the entrance from where we are. Day Trippers are most welcome! Should you decide not to campout, the Ritual will start at 7:00pm. All registrations will need to be paid no later than June 15th for planning purposes and final count to White Sands National Monument.
