Hi everyone! My name is Brandon Proctor. I am 21 years old and am
currently a junior at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. I am
working on a BA in Psychology with a minor in Counseling and
Educational Psychology. I have lived in Alamogordo for almost my whole
life and am just now getting used to living here in Las Cruces. While living
in Alamogordo, I have been studying Paganism for the past 5 years, and I
am constantly learning new things as the days go by. I have taught a few
classes for the Alamogordo Area Pagans / Holloman Circle / Silver Moon
Society groups on various religious subjects ranging from ritual and altar
design to the abundant pagan pantheons (such as Greek, Egyptian,
Japanese). I attended, and am still a member of, the Unitarian Universalist
Fellowship of Otero County, where I did a few services on Paganism and
other social topics such as morality, ethics, and diversity. I am also the co-
editor of the “MUUSE” newsletter for the fellowship, and I work as hard
as I can with Rentz (the new editor) to get the city of Alamogordo to
understand, learn, and become aware of our presence. While I will always
be tied to Alamogordo, I also have connections in Las Cruces, where I
currently live. I am attending the Unitarian Universalist Church of Las
Cruces, and I am still getting used to the magnificence of the atmosphere
of the church and hope to make new friends and continue to learn about
UUism. I am also a member of the
Pagan Student Union at NMSU, and I
was recently voted Co-President for the group. I am working with the
members of the group to educate the general public about Paganism and to
share experiences with like-minded individuals who strive to learn about
the mysteries of the world around them. I look forward to taking the time
to teach anyone who is interested in learning about the fascinating
mysteries of life through spiritual work.
